An Environmental Service Company servicing Western Canada Since 2001, we have gone through various stages of growth to offer a strong, highly reputable and quality of oilfield service in Environmental Services.  We have stood various stress-tests, and are a Survivor; The Tribe has spoken – we’re here to stay.  We have grown in the past through strict word-of-mouth, and as a marketing professional, you know that is not enough.  We cannot do business if people don’t know about us!

We need someone with high drive, and willingness/ability to learn, gain experience, network to get our name and services OUT THERE.  In this position, you will:

  • Learn some valuable technical knowledge & skills in Environmental Sciences, Regulatory and logistical operations.
  • Under direct & indirect supervision of upper management, use your education to do a competitive analysis of the market, identify target audience, and develop media to stick our company in the front of their mind when it comes to Environmental Services.
  • Define, set & regular review of Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)
  • Take charge (directly and/or via hiring contract services) to utilize Social Media, online media (print, web advertising, website, Facebook, twitter, etc.) to enhance the company’s presence.
  • Communicate & advise the company on modifications and/or operational procedures to enhance value and customization for perspective client’s service requirements.
  • Formulate and populate a database of customers/companies with the key decision makers, and obtain some valuable insight into these individuals.
  • Always be on the lookout for new and/or collaborative opportunities.
  • Attend high-value social events to network and inform people about our company.
  • Always maintain a high level of professionalism, as well as quality of service by maintaining communication between yourself, clients, field managers and employees.
  • Find the fun in the social aspects of meeting new people, going to special events (maybe even hosting some!), and growing with the company.

Location: Calgary, AB.

Term: 1 year (most likely to be extended)

Salary: $2,500 – $4,000 / Month (Dependant on Experience) + Bonuses

Terms: This is a co-funded internship opportunity for new graduates entering the workforce.  As such, a few items must be met:

  • 30 years of age or younger
  • Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or have refugee status
  • Graduated from a recognized post-secondary institutionwith a 2 year diploma or 4 year degree
  • Able to work in a full-time, permanent positionwithin 30 days from application
  • Unemployed or underemployed
  • Have not participated previously in a federal youth employment or education program
