We are looking for a driven, organized, professional individual to assist us at the office level. Our Company hinges heavily on the support personelle and the efficiency.

The Best individual will have a good understanding or training in Natural Sciences, preferably the environmental sector, and/or office administration. Their good communication and organizational skills will help them succeed. As office manager, you will ensure that supplies and services within the office environment help everyone else do their job with ease. Routine communication with field and managerial staff, as well as project managers, and clients will ensure that things run smoothly on this ship.

Duties will include:

General office duties: answer phones, emails, greet clients (though we have few walk-ins), communication with project managers, field staff, management and obtaining relevant information to submit and obtain permits, licences, etc. Obtain, organize, review & process information that generates reports for regulatory and client requirements. Continual learning & networking in our industry to move the company forward as a whole, and as a team member. The position has many more small roles, and is one where you can wear many hats; so a diversified set of skills can greatly assist.

This position may be partially funded. If you meet the criteria for the funding, it will enhance your chances of joining our team: As Full-time permanent placement, 30 yrs. old or younger with backgrounds in STEM and/or Natural resources are the criteria.

There may be an opportunity to assist in bookkeeping for the business too, but currently we are considering sourcing that to another part-time position.

Our primary industry is Oil & Gas, with focus on the Environmental side of things. If you want to enter or further your O&G experience, while gathering professional knowledge and skill sets within the Environmental Sector, this may be a position for you.

Start date is ASAP. Renumeration will be dependant on experience and skills; ($15/hr – $29.95/hr)
